Hydrangea and bird prints from Nandinoo at Anthropologie

hydrangea print from anthroWhile we are on the subject of printed items (see yesterday’s ‘printed pencils‘) can I just mention these lovely designs from talented Manchester Met fashion graduate Nadia Izruna? I’ve been meaning to write about them since they launched in Anthropologie this January. Known since childhood as Nadinoo, Nadia and childrens’ illustrator Genevieve Godbout have created a hydrangea print that I have quite fallen for, it’s fresher and bolder than your normal cliched-floral and the shape of Fleur’s Hydrangea dress makes it really easy to wear. I think I’d wear the dress, which is £138, over slim cotton capri trousers or skinny jeans and the cropped hydrangea trousers at £118 with my COS sweater in pine green.

But what I’m really coveting is the Pixie’s English Birds print blouse below, how madly fantastic is that? I can honestly say I have nothing like it in my wardrobe and as shirts are having a bit of a moment I’m thinking of investing. I reckon it would work really nicely with my tweedy skirts and trousers, as well as jeans and it would stop a classic tailored jacket from becoming dull.  if you pick your combinations carefully, it might even work with a printed pencil skirt. It’s £98 and 100% soft cotton, but selling fast so move quickly if you are interested.
