As I mentioned last week, Danish furniture brand HAY is my new favourite place. Their blend of original design and affordable prices is refreshing and something we could with more of in the UK.
They are also excellent at staging really interesting pop ups, choosing beautiful locations to showcase their products. Their latest is a temporary vintage shop located in a grand old building in Copenhagen and features hand picked Moroccan Berber rugs and Turkish kelims.
A visual feast, which appealed to my inner colour and textile designer, it even made me re-think the idea of having a kelim or rag rug in my house!
The HAY Vintage pop-up is at Bregade 26 in Copenhagen and is on until October the 25th.
Love those rugs!
Love your blog. If you like kelims, please take a look at this new collection at http://frithrugs.co.uk/cat/Kelims/558. A bit closer to home too.
