Remember way back in 2013 I posted about the house plant revival – now everywhere you look there are cheese and rubber plants, catus’s and succulents. Well in London there are for sure and last week in New York I started to notice they were popping up in some of the most fashionable downtown shops.
Ever green house plants in tiny terracotta pots, contrasted by giant 70’s style house plants in german pottery, re-claimed crates and rattan and wicker planters are the way to ‘do’ 21st century in-door greenery.
My favourite new shop in Chatsworth Road Hackney, Botany is a concept lifestyle shop which sums this look up perfectly with a
curated selection of homeware and gifts along with lovely plants and locally sourced flowers.
